Versatile musician noted for his ability to get the audience rocking in different rhythms, from highlife, gospel, to Afro pop. Sings mostly in English but can also sing in Ibo language.

Kaleta is a composer, singer, guitarist, percussionist and producer from Benin Republic. He has performed and toured with the 2 most popular musicians from Nigeria, Fela Anikulapo Kuti and King Sunny Ade to mention a few. He is also a former member of Shina Peters Afro Juju band and is currently the lead singer for Akoya Afrobeat ensemble based in New York.
While he performs, Kaleta adorns his mask to give meaning to the name Kaleta, which is "masked musician" or masquerade in the Goun and Yoruba languages.
Kaleta sings in French/English/Goun/Fon/Ewe/Yoruba. Kaleta mixes traditional songs from Benin, Nigeria, and Togo; the result is a captivating fusion of afro-pop, juju, and highlife with a touch of rock guitar riffs.
